Maya Jama cut a casually stylish figure in London on Thursday after getting a facial ahead of the Love Island final on Monday.

The presenter, 30, who has fronted the show since 2023, visited the Shane Cooper Skin clinic in Chelsea to ensure she was looking her best for the event.

In a video posted to her Instagram stories, the practitioner explained that she was having the lumination exfoliation.

She joked: ‘This is to get all that grime and dirt and crust out of your system.’

Maya looked particularly fresh-faced as she stepped out in a pair of black jeans and a matching black top.

The star finished off her look with a pair of black sunglasses and flip-flops.

Maya was catapulted to new levels of fame after becoming Love Island’s presenter in 2023, taking over from Laura Whitmore, 40.

Her career has only been going from strength to strength in the years since with a booming beauty business of her own and a rumoured role in a Netflix show.

However, the current series of Love Island saw its lowest launch viewing figures since 2016 with just 1.4 million tuning in.

Meanwhile, Maya has no shortage of offers for other projects to keep herself busy.

Although she is known as a TV presenter, Maya’s first career goal was to become an actress.

She auditioned for roles in her teens and even made it to the final round for a part in E4 teen drama Skins.

When she didn’t get the part in Skins, Maya focused on presenting instead, but it appears her acting ambitions have recently been reignited.

The star has reportedly ‘landed a sizzling new role’ in the second series of Guy Ritchie’s gangster drama The Gentlemen.

She will reportedly play the glamorous wife of a shady associate linked to Theo James’ lead character Eddie Horniman.

Back in January, the BBC Three Glow Up presenter revealed she had been auditioning behind the scenes for a ‘dream role’ and hinted she wanted to play something completely different from her bubbly TV persona.

She said: ‘My dream role, I would want to be like a villain or something that’s completely not like me, so then it shows that I can actually act.

‘And then people would be like, wow, two different people.’
