Drew Barrymore had fans buzzing on Monday after sharing a tender moment with Cate Blanchett on The Drew Barrymore Show.
The E.T. alum, 50, welcomed the Oscar-winning actress, 56, and quickly launched into a playful discussion about Cate’s love of wigs in films.
Cate even slipped on a brunette wig, but when she pulled it off and a few strands of her real hair fell out of place, Drew quickly jumped up to help.
With a soft smile and a twinkle in her eye, Drew gently smoothed Cate’s hair and said sweetly, ‘Let me make sure everything is perfect. You deserve to look beautiful.’

The tender moment with Cate comes on the heels of another fan-favorite Barrymore sighting — this time during a laid-back luxury yacht getaway.
