Long-time lovers of Mallorca are Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who are proud owners of a 250 acre property.
Michael bought the stunning property on the island with his then-wife Diandra Luker in 1989 for just $3.5 million. Even after they split up 11 years later, they shared the property for six months each of the year.
In 2014, the estate, which hugs the rugged Balearic coastline, was put on the market by Sotheby’s for a colossal $60 million.
The couple were forced to drop the price in 2017 to $45 million, and then again to $40 million in January 2018, before the luxury realtors took the home off the market.
The property offers seven units that can accommodate up to 20 people across five apartments, a loft, and two cottages totalling almost 11,000 sq ft.
