Shock moment Jamie Laing and pregnant Sophie Habboo MOCK Meghan and Harry’s dancing video from inside Buckingham Palace

JAMIE Laing and his pregnant wife Sophie Habboo have caused shock among fans after mocking Meghan and Harry’s dancing video – from inside Buckingham Palace.

The former Made In Chelsea stars filmed themselves recreating the Sussexes’ infamous “Baby Mama” dance on the Grand Staircase.

The clip shows them twerking and laughing at the royal residence, just metres from portraits of senior royals.

Jamie posted the video to his 1.6 million Instagram followers, writing: “They said we couldn’t film in Buckingham Palace.”

Sophie, wearing a pastel yellow halter-neck dress, showed off her growing baby bump as Laing pointed to it.

The pair danced to Starrkeisha’s Baby Mama, the same track used in Meghan and Harry’s original clip.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recorded their version in 2020, shortly before Meghan gave birth to Princess Lilibet.

She posted it earlier this month to mark their daughter’s fourth birthday.

While Jamie and Sophie’s video could have sparked a royal backlash, palace aides appeared to see the funny side.

The Royal Family’s official Instagram account commented: “We see you,” adding a pair of eye and wink emojis.

The King’s Trust, which hosted the reception, also responded. “All of our attendees are very well behaved,” it joked, with a laughing emoji.

Fearne Cotton, who also attended the event, teased Jamie in the comments, writing: “You also had your pap camera out with a flash. Think of what the flash has done to those priceless paintings.”

Fans were quick to react – with one joking: “When you get to do it at the Palace but Harry and Meghan couldn’t lol.”

Another added: “In a world at times worrying and serious, this comment was so needed.”

The King’s Trust, set up by King Charles in 1976, supports disadvantaged young people.

It has helped more than a million into work, education or training.

Jamie and Sophie were just two of several high-profile guests at the palace event, alongside George and Amal Clooney.

The reception honoured this year’s award winners – young people who have turned their lives around with help from the charity.

Meghan posted the footage earlier this month showing her and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital room as she tried to induce daughter Lilibet’s birth in 2021.

But conspiracy theorists bizarrely claimed that Meghan’s bump was not real, suggesting she was wearing a prosthetic pregnant belly in the clip.

Almost a fortnight after sharing the 80-second video with her three million followers on Instagram, the ex-Suits actress defended her decision to post the personal footage.

She called on people to “tell the truth” about her and claimed that the video was a chance for her to share behind the scenes of her “authentic” life.

Speaking on Dragon’s Den star Emma Grede on the entrepreneur’s Aspire podcast, she said: “You have to be authentic.

“Did you see my “Baby Momma” dance? That wasn’t yesterday, that was four years ago.

“It’s a really great reminder that with all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life – a real, authentic, fun life – that’s happening behind the scenes.

“I’m just grateful that now, being back on social as well, I have a place where I can share it on my own terms.”

The footage – released to celebrate Lilibet’s fourth birthday on June 3 – showed heavily pregnant Meghan making rowing movements and shimmying her shoulders beside the hospital bed.

Prince Harry also shuffles into view in a hoodie to the strains of then-viral pregnancy hit The Baby Momma Dance.

Podcast host Emma, founding partner of SKIMS and CEO of Good American, admitted she was shocked to see Prince Harry dancing in the video.

She joked: “We maybe watched it like 20 times yesterday.

“I was like, is that Prince Harry there with the fingers? I was like, okay, Meghan and Harry, let’s go.

“But that’s you, right? That’s you in a way that we kind of haven’t been able to see you before.”

Emma Grede’s Aspire episode with Meghan is set to air today.

She posted it on the social media platform alongside the caption: “Four years ago today, this also happened.

“Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!”

But it was slammed by royal experts as cringey and “hard to watch”.

Commmentator Ingrid Seward accused The Sussexes of invading their own privacy.

She told The Sun: “They can do what they like but why put it online?

“Does Meghan have no boundaries? I think it’s vulgar, unnecessary, attention-seeking.

“They make such a point about privacy and security and then they put stuff out there. Meghan can’t resist putting it out there.

“I think it’s completely hypocritical for everything she stands for. It’s very embarrassing.”

Meghan’s comments came after she shared a rare personal video showing Archie and Lilibet to wish Harry a happy Father’s Day.

The compilation showed photos and videos of Harry laughing, dancing and spending time with his children through the years.

Her Father’s Day tribute to husband Harry followed the same pattern with the clips of her kids featuring the back of their heads only.
